Humberto Gómez Cerveró is an expert in rural development and conservation with more than 20 years of experience leading reforestations programs for forests landscapes, bioeconomy and climate resilience in Latin America. He has worked in international organizations as IFAD, FAO, IUCN and  Tropenbos International, where coordinates the area of impact of participatory productive restoration. His career combines strategic planning, policy design, institutional strengthening and design of innovative projects that integrate local knowledge, conservation of biodiversity and economic sustainability. Humberto is a biologist, doctor in nature science and is an author of various scientific and technical publications.
