Fabiano Silva holds a degree in business administration from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM) in São Paulo, a specialization in Environmental Management from Centro Universitário do Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Comercial de São Paulo (SENAC) and a master’s degree in International Relations (SIPA) from Columbia University in New York. He has experience in the private sector in the areas of strategic planning and consulting, marketing and environmental management. He has over 20 years of experience in the Amazon, working for FVA as Economic Alternatives Program manager for 5 years, when he was responsible for technical projects for the sustainable socioeconomic development of traditional communities and grassroots organizations in several municipalities of rio Negro. Since 2013, he has led FVA holding the position of Chief Executive Officer, where he works with inter-institutional coordination processes, formulation, evaluation and monitoring of socioeconomic policies and fundraising and technical support for FVAs institutional programs.
