Director (2023-2027), professor and visiting researcher at the National Institute for Amazonian Research – INPA. Former president (2017-2019) and former executive secretary (2019-2023) of the National Association for Postgraduate Studies and Research in Environment and Society – ANPPAS. Former Superintendent of the Brazilian Institute for the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources – IBAMA in the state of Amazonas (2003-2009), Thematic coordinator of the ecology area at the Acariquara Institute. Titular member of the Brazilian Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Member of the Scientific Methodological Committee – CCM of the Environmental Policy of the State of Amazonas.
