Ivy Figueroa lives in São Paulo and works in the innovation group within the Financial Institutions Group at IFC. She is currently responsible for business sourcing in the Amazon region, covering seven countries. Ivy began her career at the World Bank Group through the Young Professionals Program in the Treasury Department, later transitioning to the Financial Institutions Group, with assignments in Washington, D.C., and Mexico City. Before joining IFC, Ivy worked at ING Barings in New York, São Paulo, and Santiago in the Credit Risk, Securitization, and Syndications departments; at American Express Bank in Santiago; and at the asset management firm Scudder, Stevens and Clark in Boston. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Economics from Tufts University and an MBA from NYU.
